The 769 is the latest update to the 760 series. Following excellent running shoes in that series including the award winning 766, 767, and 768, the 769 has more technology than ever before in the series.

Newly added to the shoe is the Abzorb DTS technology. This technology contains layers of cushioning that has proven in higher end models to provide superior cushion to the heel strike. Previous 760 models have only contained Abzorb cushioning, but the Abzorb DTS in the 769 is a combination of Abzorb, Abzorb SBS, and Acteva Lite. This system offers optimal heel strike cushioning.

The 769 now offers a new last called PL1 rather than the traditional SL1. This PL1 last has improved the fit of the running series greatly. In addition the 769 has added Blown Rubber to the forefoot, as well as deeper and more detailed flex grooves that are designed to bend with the natural movement of the forefoot.

Carried over in this series, the TS2, N-LOCK and Stability Web technologies help support the inner foot and arch and provide medial posting for mild to moderate pronators. The 769 is lighter than the previous 760 versions, but with out degrading the support. The 769 comes in 2 colors for men and 2 colors for women.
