Frontrunners staff member and Adidas sponsored athlete, Jim Finlayson, managed to hold off the rest of the field on route to a course record at The Oak Bay 'Kool' Half-Marathon on Sunday (1:06:45). The race took place under perfect conditions for 95% of the race and then light rain the last few kilometers. There was a record turnout of 501 finishers and new course records on both the mens and womens sides. This event will continue to grow in the future as it has a great atmosphere and is very well organized. Race results can be found at http://www.raceday.ca.

Team Gobi Canada will be having a BBQ and Silent Auction at the store on Saturday May 26th. The BBQ will be by donation with all proceeds going directly to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation BC/Yukon Chapter, with partial proceeds from the silent auction also being donated.
